2004 GEfco 30k GEFCO Speedstar Model 30K-DH tophead drive rig 7,095 hours 3x4 mud pump 1,000/350 Air Compressor Transfer case replaced in 2011 New engine in 2013 Lots of work done in 2018 including new paint. Will supply repairs and maintenance records at request. Main Frame: Structural steel construction and electrically welded with mast rest and hinge post being integral part of the structure. The full width driller's and helper's platforms hinge upwards during transit, while the center portion is removable. The structure includes hydraulic jack mountings and all necessary items for mounting to truck. Hydraulic Leveling Jacks: Four leveling jacks are mounted to level the rig. Two 48-inch stroke jacks are mounted in the front just behind the truck cab. Two 36-inch stroke jacks are mounted in the rear. All jacks are individually controlled with lock checks to prevent leak-off. Swivel base plates are also provided for each jack. Main Hydraulics: Consists of large common oil supply tank, oil cooler, hydraulic pumps, filters, control valves, cylinders, and all necessary plumbing. Tophead Rotacy: Hydrostatically powered tophead rotary with an infinitely controlled rotation speed of 0 to 120 RPM and a maximum torque of 70,000 in-lbs.. Unit has a low torque mode, controlled from operator's station for use when spinning out pipe in carousel. Air/fluid course is 2-1/2 in. diameter. Equipped with a floating sub to allow smooth drill pipe connecting and a clamp for attaching wear sub. The stroke of the pulldown and holdback cylinder allows the head to travel 29 ft. up and down the mast. Mast and Crown Block: Constructed of square steel tubing and structural steel electrically welded. Equipped with cable sheaves and guide tracks for tophead rotary which allows tophead to retract off center line of hole. Retracting the tophead allows 35 ft. working space above breakout table. The mast is raised and lowered by two hydraulic cylinders. Equipped with a hinge mounted hydraulic breakout cylinder located above breakout table. jib Boom: Adjustable jib boom for winch cable is mounted on top of mast and is provided with two hydraulic cylinders for boom extension and boom swing from center of mast to center of rod box. Carousel: Heavy-duty constructed carousel with six pieces of 4-1/2 inch x 20 ft. drill pipe mounted in derrick. Carousel is hydraulically controlled for storage in right rear corner of mast and center line up with tophead. Indexing is manually controlled from working platforms. Pulldown/Holdback: The pulldown holdhack system powers the tophead rotary in either the pulldown mode or the holdback mode through the use of heavy-duty cables and a 6-1/2-inch hydraulic cylinder. Pulldown mode provides 25,000 Ib. with a feed rate up to 85 FPM. Holdback mode provides 40,000 lb. with a pull out rate up to 90 FPM. Winch on Mast: Hydrostatically driven winch mounted on the mast for the purposes of tripping and pipe handling with jib boom. The winch is driven through a heavy-duty gear reducer. Rated working capacity is 40,000 lbs. with 2-line reeving and line speed of 200 FPM on bare drum. Design allows for power-up or power-down. Lubricator: Seven-gallon reservoir capacity, forced feed, electrically controlled from operator's position, for lubrication of down-hole-hammer. Water Injection Pump with Foam : A hydraulically powered water Injection pump, equipped with variable speed control for rated output up to 18 GPM and 700 PSI. A needle control valve on suction side enables foam to be metered into the system. Single Pipe Loader: A single pipe loader Is mounted on the right side of mast. Consists of a holding pod with handwheel on bottom and a guide with safety latch on top. Unit swings from side of mast to center of hole for automatic line up with tophead. Sliding Breakout Table w/Power Slide Holding Wrench: Breakout table mounts in rear section of main frame. Unit retracts hydraulically to allow setting casing up to 16-inch diameter. Equipped with hinged section to allow easy insertion and removal of guide bushings. A sliding wrench is mounted on back side of table for holding drill pipe when breaking out. Wrench Is actuated tn/out by air cylinder. Bumper stops are integral part of table, which allows various sizes of holding wrenches to be used. Breakout Wrench: A modified 60 in. pipe wrench attached to breakout cylinder. 8" jaw capacity. Pipe Spinner 4-1/2": Hydraulically powered pipe spinner for 4-1/2-lnch flush joint pipe. Unit is hinge mounted above breakout table so it can swing out of way. Easy, one man operation. Can be used to spin out or in. Pipe Carrying Rack: Carrying rack with slide mounted on right side of rig. Accommodates 15 pieces of 4-1/2-inch flush joint x 20 ft. drill pipe. Large tool box mounted below rack with lockable door. Controls: All controls and gauges are grouped at the left rear corner of the drill. All controls, valves and gauges are labeled for operator's convenience and safety. Removable and lockable control panel cover is provided. Lights: Six shock proof 12-volt halogen lights for the convenience of nighttime drilling. The system is powered by the truck electrical system with the switch located at the operator's station. Heavy Duty Transfer Box and Hydraulic Pump Drive: Heavy-duty transfer box and hydraulic pump drive case intersects truck drive line and transfers truck engine power to hydraulic oil pumps and air compressor. Unit is equipped with pressure lubrication and oil cooler. Air shift control mounted in truck cab. Standard Miscellaneous Equipment: Two spanner wrenches for adjusting tophead packing; and one level for setting up the rig. Single line with hook, as well as a 10 in. single sheave block with hook are included for reeving, as per customer's requirements. The line is 3/4 in. cable.
